CUSTO BARCELONA
Custo Barcelona was created in the early 80's by the Dalmau brothers, Custo and David, after a long journey that took them around the world. On their way they discovered not only new landscapes but also the most varied artistic, cultural and philosophical manifestations. One of the things that caught their attention was the style of California, expressed in the look of the surfers who lived in the south of the state, as well as the psychedelia of the northern part. The innovative and colourful fashion they found there impressed them, especially a style of T-shirts that did not exist in Spain at the time.
Using this as a starting point, the brand was launched under the name Custo Line. The Dalmau brothers began to work learning as much as possible about printing techniques and their finishes, with a particular attention to the area of graphic design, in which they felt especially comfortable. Over time, research into the use of colour and prints developed into innovation, audacity and sophistication.
Today, Custo Barcelona can be said to exist as a style in itself that to some extent suggests a particular way of looking at life. A way of looking at life that is expressed in collections for women and men.

Custo Barcelona is today a brand with a consolidated image which, since 1997, has been presenting its collections every season at New York Fashion Week. Innovation and creativity form the basis of a style characterised by the use of graphics and colour that has become an icon.
